"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but the Lord's purpose prevails."

I am so happy to share with you the musical and spiritual journey that is taking place in my life.

Since my music emanates from my life, and my life is all a part of God's plan, whatever happens in my music or my life, I count it all pure joy. There is no plan I could have planned nor a dream I could have dreamt to equal the blessings I have been given.

Enter into this website to find out about my new CD -- my third -- Count It All Joy. It is, in part, a celebration of my musical and spiritual heritage and features some of jazz's most exciting and sought after musicians.

I sincerely hope that the hymns and spirituals take you "back home", while the original songs refresh your ears with uplifting inspiration.

Released in February of 2006, Count It All Joy is my third attempt to share my own personal musical style with you and my second production in the jazz praise genre. While I've worked as a sideman for many artists over the years, all my own projects -- Psalm, Testify! and now Count it All Joy -- reflect my deepest desire to devote my life to my music ministry.

You will find that my musical palate is broad and that I make no attempt to exclude various styles as I compose or as I perform. I allow all my creative influences to seep through – whether it is bebop, classic soul, neo-soul, funk, gospel or brazilian flavored. When mixed with my own personal experiences, it all comes from my heart.

On the Music page -- under the heading of Count It All Joy -- I am working on having some samples from my release just for you. I do hope that you'll like what you hear and that you will consider supporting this project by buying this CD. Be sure to leave your address and/or e-mail information on the website mailing list (See Contact) so I can keep you up-to-date on new releases, my performance schedule, and other musical projects. I've already started work on the 4th CD, which was recorded out in the State of Washington. Stay tuned!

So click on and enjoy...
